We believe that fish and chips is a classic street food that also pays tribute to Portland’s historic fishing industry.
Like other street food mainstays such as burgers or pizza, we look at fish and chips as a foundation to be built upon. We aim to break the mold of what is traditionally considered fish and chips by offering craft beer batters made with gourmet ingredients.
A perfected classic will be available, but we're also getting a little unconventional. Our menu will introduce you to things like a basil and thai chili battered fish, prepared in Bissell Brothers Substance beer batter or a curry and onion battered fish, fried in Allagash White beer batter.
Of course you can't have chips without the dip. Our list of house made sauces include not just tartar, but spicy aioli, roasted garlic and poblano aioli, curry mayo, and more to come.
In addition to these inspired fish and chip combos, we will offer a rotating menu of lighter fare options that will include fish tacos, fish sliders, and ceviche.
All of our fish will come from local waters and our beer batters are made with Maine made beer.
